MagGuts did it again: "Ruger LCP2 Magguts".

7+1 with no increase in exterior size or decrease in concealability. If as reliable as their other products, how can you lose!?

Now, if they could only learn the diff. between LCP 2 and LCP II.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for that to happen, Ed. :icon_ nono2: Ruger built in the designation confusion when they decided not to pay attention to how the real world differentiated the original LCP design between the Gen 1 and the Gen 2. Despite Ruger's oversight, it was inevitable that people would start referring to the LCP II as the "LCP 2" when, as we both know, there is no such thing as an LCP 2. Or to put it another way, according to Ruger, the LCP 2 is fake news!!! We'll be faced with the aftermath of that decision forever, I suspect.

No argument with your reasoning and examples. What it does not take into consideration is that there are two LCPs, with the latter one being referred to as Generation 2 or Gen. 2, although Ruger does not make a distinction, members on the forum know the generational changes and feel pretty strongly about distinguishing between the two. When referring to the LCP II as LCP 2, the confusion occurs.

To make matters worse, there are actually 3 models of the original LCP; namely, Gen.1, Gen.2 and the LCP Custom, which, may, according to some, be the best LCP of all!
