Hey everyone, I just purchased a new Ruger LCP and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what holster i should get. I am leaning towards either a pocket holster or inside the waistband and was looking for some feedback. I would like a comfortable holster that is well made and stylish so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I like the high noon holsters and UBG holsters. Has anyone used any of these? Thanks!!!

Welcome.
Check the links above for the forum sponsors.
You can also click on the "Forum" tab above, then click on LCP Accessories.
There you will find numerous threads about holsters with so many recommendations, ideas and reviews
it will take you weeks to decide on one. Good luck. ;D

I was in the same holster hunting boat for weeks. I assume you will be too. One thing i suggest is to decide if you will be adding a laser to your new LCP anytime soon. You wouldn't want to order a holster then shortly after it arrives you have to buy another holster because you added a laser.

Then you have to decide what material you want your holster made of e.g. leather, kydex etc...

When you say In the waistband, do you mean "tuckable"? Get through those first and you might narrow your selection down to a more manageable #.

In my opinion you should narrow it down by answering the above questions and make a decision. You will not regret your choice. Keep in mind that the sponsors are tried and true according to members of this forum. I know I personally find Hidden holsters and Bear Creek very stylish and as far as I can tell they are of superb quality.

Happy Holster Hunting

I used to love my hiddenholsters.com pocket holster. It works GREAT from jeans. Unfortunately it is too slick to stay in place in dress slacks or some of my shorts. I'm thinking of trying the Nemesis for slacks.

I got the Bear Creek wallet holster two weeks ago and love it. Works great in back pocket and left inside jacket pocket. I haven't tried it front pocket yet. Doug is very service oriented and ships fast. He made me a double magazine pouch that I hope is coming tomorrow.

Okay I will admit that for me "best" means least expensive that gets the job done. For that my vote goes to the Desantis Nemesis. fits the LCP perfectly and hides in my pocket easily. I have other more expensive options but the Nemesis is in my pocket as I write this just like most days.

I have tried several holsters with my XD Sc 9mm and my LCP... I now have the Talon wallet holster for my LCP and it is awesome. Most comfortable..... I even have crossbreed, it is good but still in the way... In my opinion the Talon wallet holster is the only way to go.... It is not in the way, just like carrying a wallet and quick to get too. You dont have to wear a bigger shirt or a jacket... wear what u want..... plus its thinner than my real wallet ... LOL

I must agree ive owned diff pocket holsters and for me the TALON is the best...very fast draw from back pocket and very comfy, good leather.. I also like the Remora for its simplicity, and the fact it doers what it says...but for my needs the talon works well..

Uncle George Wallet is what I use for my CT equipped LCP. It's fantastic, even if I do have to carry my wallet in the wrong pocket when using it. I have a similar sized pistol from another mfg. that I carry in a Desantis Nemesis. It's also fantastic for front pocket carry. Lots of really good choices available for you right now. Just plan on getting a "few" instead of getting perfect "one".

+1 The DeSantis Nemesis works really well for me. Just ordered a CT laser and Holster from the elsie store. Couldn't be anymore happier.

Crossbreed MiniTuck when I want IWB and Recluse when I am pocket carrying.
;D ;D ;D
Does the mini work good? I am looking for an IWB holster and thinking its the way to go, just kinda pricey isnt it?
In the holster world, you get what you pay for.

Just received the mag pouches today from Doug at Bear Creek--both the single and the double. These mag pouches are cool. Very well made. Hold the mags securely and carry great in the pocket. Very stylish as well. Doug does magnificent work.
