How do I shoot this gun more accurately?

I'm going to have to politely disagree with Deadbolt here. The CT is a learning tool in addition to the ability to be more accurate. Even with a CT installed, if your trigger pull isn't smooth, you're not going to be accurate. The CT will graphically show any quivering or unsteadiness. It will assist in determining hammer release in conjunction with the long trigger pull. Sure, training with and without the CT is imperative but, once the CT is mastered, it's a lot easier to be a more accurate shooter without it. In addition, if the shooter has eyesight problems, it's a real Godsend.

Up until recently, I would've agreed with both of you. I think I've got the edge on both of you age-wise. Been shooting competitively since I was 10 yrs. old...That was 61 years ago. Was OIC of my base R&P team in the Navy and ran the armory. Many years and many rounds later, I won a Beretta 92FS at a local "Friends of NRA" banquet. Sadly, I couldn't do well with it at all...until a friend suggested a CT for it. It made a world of difference. Next came a CT for my S&W Model 60. Wow! It turned that little "puppy" into a serious piece of accurate firepower. Next came the LCP and, likewise it, too, has made me as accurate as I was 50 years ago. so, yes, call the CT a "crutch" if you will. I don't mind the least bit. But for folks with vision problems, it levels the playing field!
