I figured I'd just get a Galco pancake holster for my new LC9, but it appears they don't make one. I like Bianchi, too, but they don't have one either. Anyone know of a good brand? Even better if it's a stocking item. I don't really want to wait months. Thanks!

Went to the Ruger store and saw they had a Mitch Rosen OWB for the LC9. I have one for my LCP and it's very nice, so figured I'd give this a try. Anyone else have one?

I will check my laptop when I get home from work later today, may have deleted them. I will get something posted here for you to see. Have the cross draw for my LCP, Glock26 & Ruger SP-101 3". I used to ride horses in the woods, so I got used to the thumb breaks on these holsters, but if I had to do over, might consider not getting the thumb break. They are very comfy and hide easily. I use the cross draw with my Glock26 often. I never carry the LCP anymore, so if anyone wants that one, it's very cheap! Yogi :tennis:

3 pics from different angles of the Glock26 & SP-101, no need to show the LCP, it's the exact same holster. Hope these give you a decent idea of the quality. What I really like about wearing the G26 is how high it rides, needing less jacket or shirt to cover. Let me know if you want some pics of me actually wearing them. Yogi :tennis:

Thanks for the photos Yogi. Can you wear yours comfortably while sitting and driving in a car? That is what I would like to have, a holster that is comfortable to have on while driving.
This holster is my most comfortable belt holster to wear for any occasion. I wear it @ about 10:00, with a mag holder right behind it @ 9:00. Other than a shoulder holster, this would be my first choice for OWB or IWB while driving or sitting a lot, hardly know it's there.

Jeff Hays is very easy to work with in regards to meeting your wants in a holster. In fact, I've been thinking about having him make me one for my 1911 Commander & Glock30. Like any new leather holster, these were stiff at first, but loosen up with use. When I get a new leather holster, I usually wrap the gun in wax paper (waxy side out) & insert into holster for a day or two & the holster fits itself to the gun. Then, just a matter of conditioning the leather with use. Yogi :tennis:

I like the thumb breaks ... but you say they aren't necessary?

I like them also, because I got used to them when carrying a revolver when horseback riding. Matter of preference really, but I think the holster would maintain good retention without the thumb break, especially when the weapon has a longer barrel. For a shorter barrel weapon like the LCP, I would tend to get the thumb break. Again, a matter of preference, I just happen to like the thumb break. Yogi :tennis:

I realize you indicated a Mitch Rosen was available, but Jeff Hays does have an LC9 pancake in brown on sale for $45.00. Hope you find what you're looking for. Yogi :tennis:
