::)I know this is a Well Made Pistol and a Perfect Summer carry Gun, But, In the Winter when it is more easy to Conceal a Larger gun what do you carry, please name the Gun that you carry. Is the LCP your all year gun, to be truthful sometimes the LCP is easy to carry but the 380 just seems underguned now days? I guess what I am saying if you are happy with a 380 why then in the winter do you go with a bigger gun? Makes me think Not to Much Trust in the Little Gun. Do you think the Bad Guy goes from small to large because of the season change.

certainly not my go to gun. Carry my kahr PM9 24/7 summer, winter. fits in my front jeans pocket with ease. The 380 is a nice caliber but for me just not enough when I can indeed carry a 9mm. BUT that being said I really like to shoot my lcp and will buy when out the kahr P380. Wife will cary the lcp...

I think I'm going to carry my LCP all the time, in the summer as my main carry, to hot around here to carry anything much bigger, in the winter it's going to be the backup for my Charter Arms Bulldog 44 special. Ok, let the fun making begin ;D I really like the Bulldog, I have had no issues with it, other than getting used to the rather "agressive" recoil of the loads I shoot.....

Mike

I Carry my XD-40 SC year round. I have a Uncle Mikes Fanny Pack that works with just about any situation. I also us a Maxpidition to carry about any thing I need. In Winter when I usually wear a vest, I have a De Santis Sholder Holster I use. The LCP is new to me and will most likely be along also most of the time. There are those times when I don't carry for reasons that I may look suspect with the above methods. The LCP will be filling that gap for me.

Right now it's my Glock 30sf, H&K P30 or 2000. Soon I suspect it will be my H&K45 compact.
Have you shot the HK45c yet? 8)

No, I'm still waiting for it to arrive. The LEM was considered a special order. I am hoping to have in the next couple of weeks. In anticipation, I have been reloading .45 ACP like crazy. I did take my P30 to the range today. It's been a while and it reminded me what an exceptionally well-made gun it is. It is got to be the most comfortable, accurate 9mm I have ever owned. My main carry weapon is my KP944 Ruger..... I just love the exit size of a 40 cal. It's sorta heavy and kicks like a mule, but I am a Ruger person thru and thru.... I had to go with the Stainless, after all, I live in Seattle and I don't like rust..... ;)

Never thought about it, I mean a BG is a BG winter or summer, if changing because of what your wearing and want to carry something different would be one thing but to say 380 is underguned? I think it is about shot placement and to be honest I would not want to be shot with a 22 let alone a 380 which is a short 9mm. I do not have but a couple to choose from but I am thinking I will prob carry the LCP until I have another choice that I would like to try. I think for now winter or summer still a good gun to deep conceal and not weigh you down. JMHO.

There isn't a thing wrong with the 44 special bulldog it is a great carry gun with a bullet that will put a heavy hit on who/or what ever it hits. Does tend to have a loud bark though, Gary. :)

I carried my LCP all summer (cargo shorts & T-shirts). I'm looking at getting an XD9sc for winter. I will carry either one, depending on how I'm dressed or where I'm going. LCP looks easier to conceal w/ dress clothes & the XD should be fine inside a work coat pocket. I'm hoping to get the XD in a week or so I'll experiment.

I carry a Kimber Warrior daily. The LCP is a BUG. The choices are narrowed to what I'm wearing--and where I'm headed.

Pistols are not the preferred choice for bringing to a gunfight. That being said, the most effective caliber you have is the best choice, should a fight develop. But, you still have to balance that with a little common sense and practicality.

When I wouldn't carry any other gun, my NAA .22 revolver is in a pocket clip. Would I CHOOSE that to take to a gunfight? Oh, heck no! But I'd be mighty grateful to have it if it was my only choice at the time.

When conditions permit, the LCP lives in my pocket. I'd be happier to have it than the .22--if it was my only option.

More clothes/higher threat potential, my Scandium .38 Airweight with +p Nyclads and a couple speedstrips is my choice.

Need still more? My Scandium Commander with it's favorite load: SXT's--mags as needed.

If I'm working: The Kimber, 3 mags, 3 knives, the LCP, Taser, spray, ASP, AR-15, Rem 870, and a radio.

In sum: "All of the above" is my answer. 8)

I carry the most gun I can--and I carry one all the time. My choice is dictated by my evaluation of the threat--and my appreciation of my gun choice to meet that threat.
