What did you conceal carry before the LCP ?

I have in the past carried a CZ Model 1945 in 25 ACP; a Llama 380; an American Derringer 22LR; a Remington Mod 51 380ACP.

I open carried S&W 357 (for hunting).

I now have P3AT w/ Arma Laser and of course my LCP :) :) :)

Long guns and black powder are a different story.

I have a number of handguns but never carried any ccw except my little Beretta 21A. It's always been pretty much pocket carry or none at all for me.

Open carry it's my GP100 4" or my when backpacking my PPK/S.

Since March of this year it's been the LCP. Pror to that it's been, in no particular order, an S&W 642, an American Derringer 357, a Sterling 22lr, and this has covered a 38 year period. Not that many really. The ones I shoot the best, targets, groups, etc. are my 1911's, with the S&W being a fav.

How do you like the 442 as compared to the LCP for accuracy, I have thought of a revolver to add to my collection.
Unless you spend a little money to get the 442 trigger 'smithed, the LCP has a lighter and smoother trigger pull. That adds a lot to functional accuracy. Both guns suffer from marginal sights, and thus both benefit from throwing a Crimson Trace laser on.

I can hit plates with both guns at 50yd, but I find it easier with the LCP.

The .380 ammo in my LCP is not as hot as the 135gr +p Gold Dot (NYPD load) I carried in the 442.
The LCP is substantially shorter, thinner, and lighter.
The LCP is easier to reload quickly.

My primary carry gun is either a 1911 or a CZ75, currently a Dan Wesson Bobtail Commander.

My previous BUG was a Colt Govt. Model .380. While it wasn't quite as concealable as the LCP, it sure is nice to shoot, and deadly accurate to boot. It's just getting so ridiculously valuable, that I prefer to leave it at home.
