What ammo are you using?

I am currently using Blazer Brass 95 gr FMJ for practice ammo. I've had no problems whatsoever with the LCP or the ammo. For SD ammo I am using Hornady 90 gr hollow point, although I am not yet persuaded that hollow point has any advantages over ball in 38 cal. I'd like to hear other thoughts of these choices.

I probably shoot 10 to 1 practice vs carry ammo so I'm not as price sensitive about my carry ammo.
I have been using the WWB, haven't had any problems
I use WWB ammo in all my guns both semi-autos and wheels and have had no problems!

I use Remington 95gr FMJ from Wally World ($15/50 box) for practice and Remington Golden Sabers 102gr HP for carry.
Buffalo Bore JHC for carry, light reloads (mine) for practice - easy on me, easy on the gun.

What's too expensive that it's not worth the money to protect your life?

I use Remington Golden Saber for carry, Magtech FMJ for practice.
+1

Magtech FMJ 95gr - Not a single problem after 75 rounds...

Am about to try a couple of Rem Golden Saber 102 HPs and will keep those for SD
I've been using a combo of Remington 95gr FMJ and Speer Gold Dot 90GR HP, 1 FMJ, 1 HP, 1 FMJ, ect. I think this winter I'll go with FMJ only, better penetration through heavy coats......
Regards,
Mike
I never use anything other than FMJs..............I want brass casings always too!

I have been using Rem. gold sabre for my carry ammo and wwb for just playing around. Winchesters hp also works pretty well. I found that any ammo with a rounded end on the bullet seems to work pretty well.... back before I got my barrell fix by Ruger, rounds with sharp edges like the hydra-shocks caused me problems. Now that I know what works everytime I am going to just stick with that.
Hello all, new to the board. I have been carrying Corbon DPX, and practicing with magtech FMJ.
welcome jmz.
Depending on my mood... Golden Saber or Cor-Bon DPX and WWB for practice. All four in the pic below work very well for me....

Curious, do you think (or anybody) that the flat nose cheap winchesters, or the standard ball-style would be more effective in winter? (Or at all?)
Golden Sabers here. Soon to try Buffalo Bore.
Crazylegs
Winchester Ranger T & Double Tap, alternating rounds in the mag
