Paul, welcome for starters.

Currently there are three mag extensions that will fit the LCP, albeit all leave an approx. 1/8 in. gap. The gap can be covered by one of Oobens spacers.

Bersa Thunder .380 OEM finger extension (smooth vs. the Scherer checkered)
Scherer aka the Keltec finger extension
North American Arms Guardian .380 extension

UPDATE (9/22/08): The Pearce LCP finger magazine is expected to be available in October/November 2008. You might want to wait. It will be a dedicated extension and the gap will no longer be visible. It will also be sold at the elsiepea.com store. Look for it soon.

Work with some of the guys here and showcase their holsters.

And also some of the metalsmiths here can do polishing of the slides - you could sell those on the marketplace as well - either with a core charge or not, but something to consider.

Ammo group buys would be another really good idea..

Having a gunsmith willing to do trigger optimization and other customizations would be great. Something similar to what Dan Burwell is doing for the M&P's.

I can offer group ammo buys - just need to know what people are looking for. If there's a consensus we can move forward on it.

We have another holster maker in the process of sponsorship right now. Anyone with products to offer the LCP community is encouraged to participate.

For Ammo it would probably be something like Remington UMC FMJ, or possibly Black Hills or maybe Magtech FMJ - those seem quite popular and not too troublesome with these guns. Not JHP, I don't think people buy too much JHP in quantity. I dunno, perhaps I'm wrong. I would do a poll if you're going to do it and get buy-in.

Not a new item for the store, but if possible, it'd be nice to have access to the store added as a tab (like home, forum, etc) so that you can go to it directly rather than through the forum link. Just a thought.

They just put up a quick link next to Hidden Holsters. Very cool.

How about adding some Left Handed holsters.

I love good holsters but sometimes I prefer a fanny pack for CC carry. I would think a good small fanny pack would be appealing to many lcp owners. Different color choices is also nice for discreet carry. I also prefer one that has multiple compartments for items such as cellphone, checkbook and etc. Carrying different items also camouflages the primarily purpose of the fanny pack.

You might want to take a look at this company, I own two of there fanny packs but they make purses for the woman or metro man and outer wear, very high quality leather goods.

I get all of my practice ammo for my larger pistol from Mastercast.

http://www.mastercast.net/

Good ammo at a great, untouchable price. Great service and nice people.

They don't do .380 now. But I'm wondering if they, or someone like them, would do so if they got in on the ground floor, as it were, and could develope an inside track for purchases with this forum store.

Reloads are realy cheap and work just fine. I wouldn't use them for carry because of the very occasional FTF. But a good FMJ NON-hollow point should work well in our gun for practice.

Re: What additional items would you like the Elsie pea Forum Store to Carry?

I live in a tourist destination town and see fanny packs everywhere, not everyone is packing. I use a fanny pack with my walking exercise in hot weather gym shorts and t-shirt when carrying in a pocket is uncomfortable.

This is a very small item that needs to be located or made for us LCP owners. A tight fitting plastic/tupperware material container to hold a spare mag so we can drop it in our pockets and not have to worry about moisture or lint clogging it up. I went to the container store and went over that place with a fine toothed comb. Everything was either too big, shaped wrong or too small. I even showed the staff what I was looking to "contain" and they even helped try to find something perfect for it.

I figure I may have to purchase some other product just to get it's container! If anyone has any suggestions please chime in. So far all I can find is a thick poly bag to hold them clean in your pocket. Something a little bit larger than say a Bic lighter that the mag could fit into would be so nice to have. Brainstorm, what about a polymer sleeve that fits over just the metal blued part of the magazine? Keeps out lint and dust and can be pulled off to be used. And a sleeve would take up way less room in the pocket that a container would. The base is not going to be hurt touching knives and coins in the pocket so it doesn't have to be covered. :)

Try one of those little finger protectors (they look like condoms), or a balloon.

I have a company that makes belt holders out of Kydex making me a couple of holders.

Streamlight makes a really small flashlight... LED type, 1AAA Battery.  I can't recall off the top of my head how many lumens it puts out (just checked, 20), but it's considerable for it's tiny size (about as wide and 3/4" longer than a AA battery).  The police supply stores in town sell them for around $15.  It would go very well with the LCP and I know a lot of guys like to have a light with them.  Well, why have a full size light using two 123 lithium's that is about the same size as your pistol?  To me, the point to the LCP is concealability... if you have the means to carry around a somewhat size-able light... you'd think you'd have a larger pistol.  So all this rambling aside, I think if more people saw this little light, they'd snag one as a companion to the LCP.
