I needed something cheap yet workable so I bought an Uncle mikes size #1 and cut the little hook/flap that keeps it in your pocket along the stitches, insert an extra magazine, stitch it as high as you can, slip the mag out and sew it up nice and tight leaving the room for the mag. It looks like a wallet in the front pocket because the spare mag squares the lines and you have your LCP and an extra mag in a package that looks like a wallet, feels comfy and takes up no more space than the holster uses without the extra mag trick and looks factory to boot. The best part? I paid about $7 for the holster to my door (using the CTD $10 off code last month) so I wasn't worried about ruining the holster, which I did not

I posted this idea in an earlier thread but I thought I would post this up with a photo for anyone looking for a cheap but functioning pocket holster that holds an extra mag. what do you think?

You got that idea from www.talontraininggroup.com. Its also called the blackhawk, they sell the holster on their website.

mclass, Do you mean that I got the idea on (actually before) Oct 20th from a video that was posted on Nov 10th? time travel always was one of my best tricks : I got the idea while thinking about holster designs and how to carry an extra mag and the uncle mikes was cheap so no worries if I messed up.

If anyone got the idea from anyone, it was the other way around though its not exactly a rocket science type idea
