Having owned 3 kt's and having zero luck, My Ruger has been great with 1350 flawless rounds through it. But that being said, the trigger pivot with the Rugers is an issue that needs to be corrected and very soon. Kt's gave the same issues, but not near as much as the Rugers are giving. It is not rocket science to do it right. We don't read any more issues with the kts having broken trigger pivots, so they must have figured out how to get it right.
If these recalls don't include replaceing the trigger pivot with an upgrade quality one, then they will be getting alot back AGAIN.
If we read of one major issue that seems to keep popping up, it is the trigger pivot.
Hell I can look by some of the few different ammo brands that might not chamber due to over all bullet length. There are oddles of brands and types out there to choose from. I have no issue at all with Corbon DPX or golden sabres, so I don't go looking for trouble with other rounds just to be able to come on this forum and vent, Makes no sense, But I feel very insecure knowing this trigger pivot issue is still out there doing it's thing..
