It seems every time I insert a loaded mag & then rack the slide, it sticks open.
I mean just about all the way open, just like if I had the slide lock on.
Yes, I'm making sure I pull back & release quickly, not just a little bit of force.
Of course, the lock is not engaged.

To correct that, I then pull it all the way back again, it then snaps forward
properly with never any feed problems, etc. Fires-ejects-feeds AOK.
It's just that first time when I pull back to load the first round.

Do ya think it's the springs? I've taken everything apart, wiped down the
springs & they "seem" just fine.
Maybe I have them in bass-ackwards accidentally? I'm not sure if it matters or not.... ???

Any ideas would be appreciated, especially I'm going to the range tomorrow
to try out the 10 & 15 extended Pro Mags I just got.

Proper orientation of factory springs is with the flared end of the inner spring facing the front of the gun....try that and see if it helps...

Thanks!
The springs are now in properly & no problems with the slide today after 170 rounds.
