Guess this is part of the reason they claim everyone that wears a vest now days has a gun under it! Reckon?

Since I started carrying, I try to be careful not to advertise it. I do find myself watching other people in public to see if I can spot someone else carrying. Every once in a while I think I can spot someone being careless, but I realize most of the time, I'll never know.
When wife takes me shopping, I sit and wait while she shops. Great time to watch people!

Right after I got my LCP, I ordered a holster from EBay that works just like a billfold. The little gun fits right into it and you just carry it like a billfold. It's fairly easy to get it out of the holster with one hand. I figured if a thug approached me, he would likely ask for my billfold and if I reached to my back pocket, that would not cause any suspicion that I was drawing a weapon. But not only that, It's just a good place to carry ,in my opinion. The only draw back I'm aware of is that I had to move my wallet over to my left pocket. So, I'm thinking if someone was paying much attention, they would suspect something about my two wallets. It really don't matter now. I just got my CT laser installed and it no longer fits into it.

Robert--It's actually probably good that it no longer fits.......because what you describe is probably termed an "AOW" (any other weapon) by BATF....and thus requires registration and a tax stamp. There is at least one seller on e-bay shipping these to unsuspecting buyers.

Now, for the rest of the topic--I ALWAYS carry in a black, Uncle Mikes fanny pack, so I'm NEVER obvious! ::) ::) ;D

I think the person carrying notices it way more than anybody else would. Thinking that people notice it when really they don't. I've used the smart carry holster and looking down you'd think people might see the butt of the gun sticking out, but looking in the mirror it's not noticed.

It's a pocket holster, not a mod to the gun. Robert, I got the LCP holster from pocketholsters.com before I got my CT for the LCP. I reworked the holster section by removing some of the thread, dampening the holster, and placing the pistol with the laser back in and reformed the leather a bit, let it dry and shrink around the pistol, then restitched with a leather awl. Of course, the pistol was treated with Gun Sheath first and wrapped in a Saran Wrap to keep it away from the moisture. I did this because Guru at Pocket Holsters told me it was unavailable as he hadn't even seen an LCP, let alone one with a laser. I believed him, as my holster came in a packaged labeled for the 3AT and the LCP, and didn't fit like a glove. They have a holster for the laser equipped now. Anyway,

Before:
After:

Dyed and waxed the newly exposed area, done.

And, yes, this holster is excellent. Prints 'wallet', not 'gun'.

Thanks Fatman. I,m glad you cleared up the confusion about the pocket holster. I wasn't really sure why I needed something extra to carry it this way. I really don't know what all the abbreviations mean that I see in some of the post either. I like your idea about modifying the holster to fit with the CT. My holster looks very similar to the ones you posted.
