Ok, I am really very bored atm and noticed a few things. The LCP magazine is made in Italy, the lock is made in china, the zipper case is made in Taiwan, and the pistola in USA ;D

Also though Ruger says the little pistol weighs in at 9.4 oz I noticed that it actually weighs 9.5 oz unloaded with magazine in, 8.3 oz without magazine and 11.9 oz with 7 rounds of 102 gr Golden sabers on board. 2 different digital scales were used for the weights.

whats any of that mean? nothing at all really, like I said boredom made this post ;) , though I am curious about the 9.4 vs 9.5 oz thing.

nothing more to see here, carry on. :D

Did you "grease" your slide? really really heavily?
buffed with the magical silicone cloth too many times?

I had several other questions and then remembered this a family oriented site ;D ;D ;D

please do me a favor with your digital scale and measure the trigger pull (with a snap cap of course) :-[

I thought of the oil making the difference as well but it was tried with a wiped down pistol (as wiped down as it could get without taking bluing off anyways :D) as well as after lubing and it weighed the same.

I am afraid of what Snobird is doing with that "magical silicone cloth" now! oh me oh my

Oh and just because I had some more time on my hands ;) heres a pic Guns N gee-tars

I wonder if it was 9.4 but then you got the new slide lock so it is 9.5?

But then the peening problem area was milled down so it should be back to 9.4, right?

But then the new barrel came out which is slightly longer putting it back to 9.5?

So I guess depending on which LCP you have and when it was made, it could weigh either 9.4, 9.45, or 9.5oz. :)

More boredom... @!Wheeeeeee!!! ???
