While watching "Lead: Mankind makes use of lead, a versatile but toxic metal, " a Modern Marvels segment on the History channel just now, they provided this interesting piece of data. Bullet manufacturers consume around 600 tons of lead per day. The show was produced in 2008.

I mite have eat a # or two in the last 70 yr. I used to do body work and cast bullets for about 50 yr.
So I have had my fill of lead. Not to munch lead in the pencil any more. LOL
We used to cut are teeth on lead paint.

By my calculations 62,343.75 days considering they are FMJ's at 88 grains per shot. But I could be totally wrong LOL!

If it doesn't rain today I am going to do my best to shoot at least 100 rounds through LCP and 100 rounds through SR9C. I don't want to but I am trying to do my part. ;D
