On a waiting list to get this lil bug....I was wondering if the frame has metal rails which the slide interacts with. Or are they plastic rails like the kel tec??? This is a great forum! All of you have posted great comments and pics that really help!

I don't know about the Kel-Tec but the LCP has an aluminum firing block pinned into the frame... the slide rides on rails that are intergral to this block.

The Ruger is still a better made pistol (overall), though.
I've handled and fired the KT, and subsequently bought the LCP, so I think I have standing in saying that.
