Here's mine...stock (with the carry handle attached) & scoped. My scope is a Nikon P-223. I put a MAGPUL Gen 2 flip-up rear sight on the rail. I can't use it when the scope is on the rifle, but I like having it already on. The eye relief is really nice with this scope. It doesn't seem to matter much where I position it on the rail. The P-series Nikon mounts can be configured in about a half dozen different configurations.

I've got a Palmetto State Armory 16 in 5.56 mm M4A1 Carbine,. I both the rifle in a package deal (bottom of picture) that came with an Aim Point Pro. I later added an Aim Point 3x Magnifier, a Magpul Angled forearm grip and a Midwest Tactical Quad Rail. I've got a Magpul STR Carbine Stock-Mil Spec, still sitting in the box. I liked the cheek weld. The next range trip I will try it out.
I was a bit skeptical about getting a 22LR Conversion Kit, but... CMMG makes one that allows the conversion and so far it has been flawless. This puppy shoots like a type writer.
I have other AR's but just got this one last week. It's an ATI. Paid $499 for it. I figure for a new AR under $500 it can be my truck rifle. The sights I added on.
Nice! I was on The High Road forum and they were saying that it's the best time ever to pick up an AR. I even got an e-mail the other day for $35 AR receivers.
I was just about to order the same thing last week but got a 6.8SPC BCG instead. Now all I need is a barrel, upper receiver, charging handle, gas block, hand guard, muzzle device, scope and mount. At the rate I'm going I should be up and running by 2017.
I think I'm going to build an AR pistol and put a Sig arm brace on it. Great legal short barrel fun. This will also be a great home protection weapon. Den
an ar pistol is something i hadnt really thought about building , shot one but never really had the notion to build one , as of yet . i thought i was gonna be done after the 308 is finished but parts keep well pretty much falling at my door step so looks like i gonna build another
