Is there a site that has a correllation between serial numbers and date of manufacture? Seems like some upgrade/modifications are done throughout the manufacturing process and are more driven by the date the LCP was made vs the serial number. Let me if there is. Thanks.

You can get a good idea of the manufactured date by the factory test fire date on the little envelope with the spent test shell that came with your LCP.

...and the gun shop has a nice indoor range where I could have shot all evening pro-bono (including ammo of my choice). I know, I need help.

Well that's just sinfull not to pat it once in a while
let it feel loved in its new home.
What's a matter with you -- it could be afraid of the dark in the box.
Let it air out for a while......

I'm pretty sure the test fire date would be an accurate reflection of the date of manufacture. My LCP was purchased at Cabelas in AZ on Sept 26th and test fired on 8-21-08 in CT. I first fired it on Oct 5th with no problems.

I may not hold the record, but it's still impressive to me. Got it eight days from the firing date on the envelope! ;D

And shot it the next day, 50 rounds, perfect.

Re: Re: Serial numbers

I opened the box in the parking lot of the store and checked it out and she's been in my pocket everyday since
