I recently won a Security Six, Stainless model with a 2-3/4 ths inch barrel in a auction... made in 1979. It appears to have a Tritium type front sight that has just about petered out.. Were these type sights an option on Security Sixes back in the day or is this likely an aftermarket item..... In any case, does anybody know of anybody who still makes this type of sight of a Security Six.... Back in the 80's I had a 2 3/4 inch Security Six and foolishly let it go many years ago.... Finally got it replaced... It appears to have Pachmayr type grips with Ruger Medallions, so I assume that ways an option back in the day..... Any help on this wiil be greatly appreciated... Thanks

As far as I know, the sights nor the grips were offered from Ruger.

If you Google it,you can find the replacement vials. YouTube has a few videos on how to remove the old ones and replace the new ones.
