Hello and thanks for taking time to read this.

I just picked up my Ruger 57, it is right and tight except for the magazines, they are loose and rattle, is this common?

Thank you!

Do they rattle when empty or with full ammo?

Yes, this was the first thing I noticed today after loading up my new Ruger 57. With each step there is a noticeable rattle that is loud enough for others to hear from 6 feet away.Damien from the NH customer service department said that Ruger is aware of the issue and working on a permanent fix, but no ETA as to when we'll get it. This is a known issue for all Ruger 57 pistols, but most noticeable with full 20 round magazines. As a jury rig, he said others have used a small piece of tape across the very bottom of the magazines to mitigate the wobble and noise. Going to try it myself now and hope the fix comes sooner than later.
