Robar does excellent work and their NP3 is an exceptional finish but it can be a bit slippery if the serrations on your slide are not too aggressive (difficult to get traction). On my Glock 27 it's great. When it was applied to my XD45 compact slide (a slide that requires a bit of oomph to rack on a good day), it was not the best choice due to the XD's rather thin slide serrations and I asked Robar to re-do in matte black Roguard. They did so without hesitation - Robar is a great company to deal with and IMHO one of the best (if not THE best) after-market refinishers. Below is my Glock 27, Robar slide, barrel, slide release, internal slide parts, and Wolff non-captured recoil assembly. I would think NP3 would be fine on the LCP and look great.
