Remington 380 Auto 88gr JHP - Worked Great

Wanted to let everyone know that the 100rnds of Remington 88gr JHP performed great today at the range. I have no idea if the bullet is sutable for SD work but I had no jams and it shot accurately out to 25yrds. By accurate I was able to keep all 6 on a 5" shoot n c at 25yrds from a weaver stance slow fire. I was able to keep all 6rnds in center mass on IPSC target at 25yrds rapid fire.

I shot the Remington 88 gr and liked the way it shot. I also was shooting Speer 90 gr and found it a bit more aggressive on the recoil. I am using the Speer Gold Dot 90gr for SD but I don't think I will do a lot of target practice with it. The Remington may be my choice for that.
Can either of you guys tell me what the overall length of those cartridges is ? I'm going to handload some to test and knowing the factory col would be nice.

Thanks, Pete

My target paper punching practice ammo is the absolute cheapest crap ammo I can find, whichlately none is cheap anymore in 380. I wold stay away from steel cased ammo but other than that all the other brands should work fine. A shame when ammo goes out of price gun sales willslow way down. Right now we have Obama to thank for the tremendous increase in gun sales..
At first I thought you were talkin' about this Remington .380 ;D :

I've got one that belonged to my wife's grandfather. It's a sweet, thin little gun that fits my hand more comfortably than any other & shoots very well. Sure would like to find a second magazine for it.
