Pop Up Style Holsters

Has anyone tried the Pop Up style holsters? G

They are an IWB holster designed to clip to your belt/pants but ride below the waistband out of sight. The holster is open at the bottom. To draw the gun, one pushes up on the barrel and the gun pops up for easy access.

Galco has one, desantis has one, and one can be seen at the Palehorse Holster website. Are these things functional and comfortable?

This has been read a lot but not replied to. Does anyone know about these holsters?
I've been carrying my LCP for about a week. I purchased three holsters; the pop up from DeSantis, the SuperFly also from DeSantis, and an elastic type ankle holster from ebay. I'd have to say, the DeSantis Pop Up is my favorite. It is so slick... the LCP stays in place, tightly, but if you push up on the barrel from outside your pants, POP! she's right there waiting to draw. When the gun is fully inside the holster, the leather is just slightly longer than the pistol, which helps accidental pop ups when you bend your legs or sit down. A small trick when you want to pop up is to place your thumb on top of the holster, then use your middle/trigger fingers to push up.

The drawback, for me, is that a shirt doesn't really tuck very well, it has to come up and over the holster. My job requires dress shirts often so that's why I have the other two holsters. Which, by the way, the SuperFly is also outstanding craftsmanship. That's my 9 - 5 carry, then it's untuck the shirt and switch to the pop up.

Graham Holsters offers this, but they don't list the LPC as a size.

I know it's my first post here but just a heads-up about Pale Horse, No customer service at all. Ordered a holster for my S&W M&P40 from them 2 years ago and didn't receive the holster at all. Took 5 months and threats directly to Graham just to get my money back 5 months ago. Graham supposedly isn't the problem but the woman who runs Pale Horse.

I'm interested in the DeSantis though to carry during work hours. Thanks for posting the pic Howard.

Gee, I thought I was the only one who never got any service from Pale Hourse. Iordered a holster 18 months ago. wrote them at leat 6 times and never a reply. He makes great stuff, but I would never own another holster made by him. I guess businessis good though to ignore paying customers. 3 years ago, one couldorder a holster from him and get it in month . My my how time changes alot. to many other good holster makers out there, that are hngry and know how to service customers IMO. Ron's the problem, I don't blame the woan who runs Pale Horse. His name goes on every holster, so its his problem.
