Yes, Arizona... good for five years and you do not have to attend another class to renew if you don't let it expire past 90 days. Valid for any legal handgun you own and they do not have to be listed or registered on the permit or application.

I originally took an 8 hour class ($75.00) on a Saturday, put the application, fingerprint card and money order ($65.00) in the mail Sunday night... had the permit in my hand Thursday afternoon, a 4 business day turn around. They put the wrong weight on it, so I called the following Monday morning, had the new permit Wednesday afteroon.

Let's hope one of these days that ALL states will have a 'shall issue' law on their books....

Given by my home state, but honored in all 50 ;D
Yes I do..Home State of Ohio and a nonresident from PA.........
No answer on your poll for me. I have only a non-resident permit in Washington, which allows me to carry in my home state of Idaho, as well as a number of other states. I live on the Idaho/Washington border less then 2 hours drive from Montana, I wanted only one permit which would allow carry in each state.

I did check with my local county Sheriff's office to make sure I didn't need a resident Idaho permit and was told no, the Washington non-resident would be fine as Idaho accepts all other states permits.
Hey 96GTS....
I think you should check the map.... Looks like your CA. permit is only good in about 14 other states.... Bummer......

Yes it is...HR218 is a beautiful thing ;)
Have one for MN, (home state) probably will get the Utah one on renewal next year.
Utah Non-Resident
Hey 96GTS...
According to latest ruling signed by Bush, HR218 has nothing to do with Concealed weapons permits. It merely lets duly sworn/appointed law enforcement officers to carry in any state....

Just clarification...... http://www.njlawman.com/Feature Pieces/HR 218.htm

Ayup. Home state, good in the states I spend time in.

Exactly. Being a LEO, that's what I was getting at... CA granted me with the privilige to CC and now with HR218, I am able to do so in any of the 50 states...
That is good for out of state LEO could not concealed carry in Socialist Republic of Kalifornia according to our NV LEO depending on Kalifornia encountered officer.
