ive had one of these for a few months now ,love it. its breaking in very well, I'm sure it will last for years. i bought 2 for my son in laws, one for a glock27, one for a smith J frame. they both use them a lot, no complants. I would recommend these holsters to everyone.

Pocketholsters.com make a good holster for the LCP. I've been carrying with one (when wearing slacks) for 6 months or so. Workmanship is good, the design sound. Like any holster with a covering flap they work best in a loose pocket. The covering flap can be removed on this holster. It's an open muzzle design, if that matter to you. I've found Haggar Q slacks work well for carrying in a pocket holster w/covering flap. They have a large, relatively loose pocket design, and have several accessory pockets to boot. Let us know what you decide on & how it works for you.

Good point ragu1macrider,

Fangus and jwardiii, any problems with the exposed mag release? Do any of you favor front pocket over rear?

Never had the magazine eject during everyday carry w/the Superfly, Nemesis or Pocketholsters.com rig with the LCP in the front pocket of slacks. I've had issues in the past with jeans rear pocket carry behind my check book with a Beretta 21A. I've carried the LCP in the front pocket of jeans with the Superfly and the Pocketholsters.com pouch. Even with the tighter fit of the jeans pocket I've never had the mag release. I'm not saying it couldn't, but it hasn't yet. Having said that I should add I've never ended up rolling around in the dirt, etc. while carrying this way.

I've got the Pocketholsters.com rig. with the CT laser. Not had a problem with it - front pocket only (I don't like the idea of carrying in the back pocket). Even with some rather loose jeans it seems to be a fairly large "chunk" in your pocket, but I am getting used to it. I just wish it had a a raised area to push off with the thumb when drawing. I sometimes find it a little difficult to draw without bringing the holster with it. I think this will get better as the holster breaks in a little more.

just pretty hard to beat the desantis nemesis, IMO. I have a half bushel basket of good leather hoslters and I just keep finding myself going back and back to my trusty desantis. Same thing for my PM9 to, desantis, for works good, conceals good and plenty left over from a $50 bill to buy a couple cases of good ol suds.

I have got 6 months of use out of an Ace Case $6.00 pocket holster that at this rate will wear out in 5 years and I think I will order another one soon before they quit making them due to lack of sales--it is one of the best holsters I have used in 35 years (I am 55--oops wrong thread!)

i've had no problem with mag release at all. i wear my pocketholster, backpocket with jeans all the time. i think we are overly worried sometimes about people seeing our guns, personaly i dont think people notice anything outside of there daily lives. lots of people carry big wallets, checkbooks, daily planners, its normal. i dont have a problem drawing from the holster, after practicing a bit it works well for me.

I have the nemesis but it seems to have been discontinued. Desantis makes a couple of other similar but slightly different pocket holsters but I don't know if any can be used with a Crimson Trace.

Weird. It's still on their website. Looks like they might just be out of stock. MidwayUSA is also out of stock but shows an expected date of 1/20/09. The Crimson Trace version is in stock: http://www.desantisholster.com:80/s...ction=prepare_detail&itm_id=10620&itm_index=0

It's still very much alive. I ordered one last week from Desantis, and just received shipping notification yesterday (Monday).

Mika's Pocket Holsters are designed to stay put when drawing the gun. As a matter of fact, it's hard for me to get the holster to come out of my pocket when I'm disarming.

That's good. Someone had told me they were discontinued and the link I had to them came back as broken. I've been real happy with the holster what little time that I've had to use it.

Uncle George makes a great wallet styled holster for the LCP and has videos posted on his site about how to get the most effective draw out of it. He also makes holsters for the Crimson Laser. You might want to check out his Web site.

i just found a holster at the local gun show here this weekend and it fits pretty good for the pocket. i don't know who makes it though. it was 15 bucks but what the hay i figured i would give iyt a try. just a few stitches to make it snug that was it. it looks like it will work with ctc attached too.
