Does anyone have any experience with the Carry GAP? To me it looks like the perfect compromise of size, weight, caliber and capacity. I promised the wifey I would do lots of research on this before plunking down some bills..... :)

Here's a link to Guns and Ammo's review...

Thanks,

probably as small as any semi 45 out there in all metal version. Still IMO much to big for pocket carry and to heavy also, but I owned a carry 9 (very similar) and it was a nice gun, if you want a 1911 style 45. My choick today definitely would be the Kahr pm45, none smaller, certainly none liter and oh yes they do go bang every time. Very loooong smooth trigger, that you will love.

This is what I will EDC when Crimson Trace has a LaserGrip for it.

M&P 45c

I hadmy M& P 9 which was the worst trigger I have ever taken out of the box, Had it all reworked by Dave bowie of Bowie tactical. If you haven'thad a trigger/action job done on your M & P by bowie then you will never know what your are missing.

My M & P 9 is the most accurate handgun in myarsenal. It has never once faile dto go bang, He installed hi viz adjustable sites on it along with compelte stippling job . My best range gun, jno doubt BUT entirely to big for my to carry IWB or OWB. I knew that when I bought it though..

I think Smith has got it right now with the M & P and I am here to "priase" ceasar..

This is my perfect size 45. They no longer make this in all steel so I'm glad I got on board early. I added the CrimsonTrace grips later. I did have to replace the ambidextrous safety to add the laser but to me that was a non issue. This is a Springfield Micro compact

Hi Mike, It's a Don Hume H721. I'm kind of a fan of his stuff. He does litte extra stuff like stiching around the belt slots. Always a great fit with his stuff.

I didn't over inflate anything. Maybe I should've been more specific. I was looking at the black stainless slide. I don't care for 2 tone guns for work or CCW. I got the info directly off Kahr's site. No shops around here sell them, so I don't know what the "market value" is. $903 w/o NS (4544) and $1022 w/ NS (4544NS).
