P3AT mags fitting the LCP?

While I was looking around on the net I came across this http://www.killacomputer.com/Article_Detail.php?g=content1208767637 page and he says that the LCP will use P3AT magazines but not vice versa, anyone have both and try this out to confirm if it does work? now this is really more of curiosity, but maybe a way to have a 7 round mag as well if the Keltec with the +1 extension would fit.

opinions?

Short answer - nope. Long answer - you can make them work, but I'm not sure it's worth it. The retaining slot in the mags are different. The Keltec mag will not seat high enough in the LCP for the slide to strip the round. I did get one to work by soldering a small piece of metal to the slot, wasn't easy to do, but I read the same article and already bought the mag, couldn't return it :(

Mike
While KT mags may not fit the LCP, NAA Guardian 380 mags will. I've tried both the standard 6 round NAA mag and the 10 round mag and they both work in my LCP. The six rounder hangs out the base as does the 10 rounder which goes without saying. Both functioned great.

Do you have pics of the 10rd setup installed? I can't picture it working b/c the LCP has that little heel behind the mag that the NAA doesn't have and the 10rd mag looks like the extension extends to where the heel would be...

The base of the 10 rounder doesn't come in contact with the bottom of the LCP grip.

I agree with GTS, some pics would be great! I've heard this would work somewhere before.
IF THAT 10 rounder works ok in the lcp, that would be awsome firepower. That was the nice thing about the kt 32 with the 10 runder, 11 rounds is alot. and actually that more capacity magazine didn't take up that much room either.

Sure wish Ruger would come out with a 10 rounder in the lcp. We need some photos of the 10 rounder magazinein the lcp to see how it fits up etc...
photos would be great
