I am The Rodentman from MN. I bought a 370-49XXX just in time to find out about the recall. I've already registered to send it back.

I'll be taking it to the range this Friday to run a box thru it, if my hand holds up. I'll also be firing my S&W 638 so it will be a fun time.

I also have a Kahr PM40 of which I am very fond. Also a Walther PPK and Ruger Service Six which I bought new in 1976. I wish I still had my first handgun, an S&W 28-2 which I bought in 1972, but that one is long gone as is the 29 nickel.

Hoping to learn more about the LCP and hope it turns out to be a reliable carry piece.

Thank you! I'm sure I'll be spending a lot of time here. I am anxious to try the LCP. I had a Kel-Tec but sold it. The LCP seems better made, but I guess I'll reserve judgment until after the recall.....

Well I haven't received the box and label to send the LCP back yet, so I plan to run a box or 2 thru it at the range this week. A hand buster session with the 638 as well...

OK, well I didn't think the recall boxes would ship immediately. I note that I called a UPS store and they said I could NOT drop the box off there for shipment. I'd have to call for pickup or take it to the main hub here. Something about the UPS stores don't have an FFL but the hub does. (?)

The format is fine. At least I can read it. I'm on another firearm forum where the text is way too small.

Friday I will break in the LCP if I can stay out of the gun shop long enough to get to the range. Why do I think I always need another handgun? Don't answer that.....!!!
