You will be able to ship the pistol from your home. Simply put the gun in the box that Ruger will be providing and then call UPS or Fed Ex, the one that delivers your box and they will pick it up. After approximately one week the gun will be returned to your home. An adult will need to be there to sign for it or I'm guessing you will get a notice to come to their location to pick it up.
