Took my little LCP to the range today and fired some Hornady 90gr JHP/STX's and some Buffalo Bore 95 gr FMJ-FN. Holy crap! Those BB's like to tear my arm off. They shot low left, doubt I'll make those my all the time shoot ammo. The Hornady's went off pretty well. I'll post the pic of the target, it'll be the upper right target the LCP shots are in.

stillpretty good shooting for a little gun with sites that are cosmetic only. Try just POA , u will probably do better at 7 yards and be much faster even. The loooong trigger will cause low shots. Takes some getting used to and I personally have never gotten used to it yet. and I have 1350 rounds through my lcp. My groups are certainly no better than yours.
I do like hte corbon dpx and the golden sabre 102 grains. they run so smooth out of my lcp. THAT IS THE NUMBER ONE THINGS. Accuracy is second to the gun going "bang" first.......

I think Jocko hit the nail on the head. That long trigger unless you practice with it a lot does strange things to your POI. I carry Buffalo Bore 90 grain JHC, I think it's an extremely effective round equivalent to .38 Special +P energy out of the dimunutive LCP. Not too shabby but you gotta practice with it and it ain't cheap. As for recoil, yeah it's a kicker but a slip on grip will help ease the bite somewhat. As for practicing at beyond 7 yards, it is somewhat unrealistic with these little guns. They are designed for up front and personal worst case scenarios - 7 yards or less. That's the sweet spot and that's where you should focus your attention. Even with larger guns, I am fond of telling people that at 25 yards, you should be running not shooting (if you are non LE) unless you have a good lawyer and/or a sympathetic jury.

Had to break out my calculator! I thought 21 ft was about 7 yards and thats what I was shooting at.

Somewhere I read, or was told, that the new FBI standard in weapons philosophy is 3-3-3; 3 shots, 3 seconds, 3 yards (9ft).

That makes perfect sense to me. Even at 21 ft (7yards) for a guy my size 5'11" 205 lbs, I might have difficulty convincing a jury that at that distance I still felt threatened!!!!!

Keep in mind that Jocko is 6'8", 344 pounds dripping wet (recently retired from Green Bay) so you are on solid legal footing.

Just think if you had provided your measurements in metrics.
