I went to a gunshow this morning and found the CT LG-431 I have been looking for, 156 bux with the batteries for life coupon. So I bolted em on and headed for the range which is right out behind my pole barn.
Previous to this I had fired only one box of S&B and had a couple FTE's but was not too worried about it.
Today I had a LOT of FTE's today I was shooting really cheap Aquilas and some left over S&B's and it did the same thing with both brands.
It leaves the entire case in the chamber like the extractor is slipping off the case head, so I got out the dremmel and mirror polished the feed ramp and chamber, it did help some but there is still the occasional FTE, but when I load up my high priced carry loads, Win hollow points, it burns through em with no hiccups.
I'm not much of one to send stuff back, I'm gonna work through this by process of elimination, prolly gonna get some real fine compound and polish the chamber even more, then see what develops.
As far as the laser goes, this thing rocks! Excellent unit, fit and finish are very nice, it required about 1/8 clock wise turn and no elevation to hit point of aim dead center, off sand bags sitting down at 7 yards, ORH (One Ragged Hole) is no problem, at 15 it opened up a little groups were around 1.50 inches but that aint to shabby for a pocket pistol with a barrel only about twice the length of the chamber.
