I'll be your Huckleberry....

My elsiepea with a NAA finger extension CT laser, upside down Pachmayr #4 (trimmed), O-ring on mag, and Nitesiters (sorry, you can't see them) to enhance the front and rear sights.

Hey Rich, how do you like the Nitesighters? I think my eyes are about as old as yours, did the dots make a big difference picking up the sights? I've just about given up using the sights as they are, just can't see them....
Mike, I just added a thread on them in the accessories section. I like them a lot considering they are inexpensive, work as designed and give you an extra edge at the range.
What's your take on the CT Kraigster414? Do you like it? Would you buy it again knowing what you k

now now?

Jim, I like it so far. I think lasers in general allow you certain options that you wouldn't have without them and the DVD that comes with the CT (about an hour in length) is excellent. It gives a very balanced look at the pros and cons of lasers - obviously CT feels there are more pros than cons. I'd still like to shoot it some more, see how the zero holds, and then I can answer your question better. It defintitely seems well made/well designed with a solid company backing it up. So far I am impressed.

How's that for waffling? ;D
Not a waffle........I think you were just trying to tell it like it is and I appreciate your frankness! Right now, I am having a hard time bellying up to the bar and plunking down $165-$170 for the CTs..................Maybe someday..........I wish someone would come up with a way to put some mini real and I mean real night sights on the ElsiePea.........I can dream can't I?
Here's mine with the slide hardchromed by Tripp Research (sorry for the poor pix....taken with my phone's camera).

Ooh, details, details please. Address, price, turn-around-time.....very nice!
The bad news is that Tripp isn't doing hardchrome anymore. But, Accurate Plating & Weaponry certainly does comparable work. www.apwcogan.com
Nice K21! :)
Wow, Im so jealous :-\ Thats awesome, that looks great
Thanks folks! I figured with the gun in my pocket so much here in the humid South, that the extra protection provided by the hardchrome was well worth the expense.
I think that was a wise decision. I may have to do the same. Be nice if they (APW) could give us a forum discount. You think?

I have had Tripp CobraCoat one of my guns and they did a nice job. Lately, I have been using Robar a lot. Big fan of their NP3 and I hear excellent things about APW.

Well k217sc, you sure came up with a good excuse for the hardchrome anyway!
All kidding aside, it looks nice! Wish I had my two ElsiePeas done!

I like the finger extension and the o-ring is a pretty cool trick to fill the gap!!!
Any chance we could get an update on the picture?
