Just got my ctc and my mag ext from the elsie pea store two weeks ago. Went last Tuesday to the range to test my new acquisition and felt in love with both products. Excellent accuracy and grip a lot better. I shot 50 rounds without any problem where I put the red dot I put the bullet. Went yesterday (Friday) with 2 friends to show them my new gun with laser and after the first 6 shots the plastic between the activation buttom and the trigger broke  . I was surprised because I can't see how that happened. My hands are big but not that strong , and the ctc looks well build. Has any body broke their laser. I'm disappointed $160 gone in 56 shots. I know they offer 3 years warranty, but do they cover that? I will post a picture soon.
Thanks

nestilllolcp,

i have owned ct laser grips in the past, you should have no problem with getting a new laser for you Lcp.

All things will break in time, that is written in stone ask Mr. Murphy.

No, i don't own one for the LCP now ,but i will purchase one in the near future.

Good thing it wasn't a glock. some one would have accused you of limpwristing it, and that is why the incident happened. LOL :D

hope all things work out.

best regards, ;D

Just called CTC and they will repair my laser. I don't think they can repair that because the plastic is broke. I've tried to post pics, but an error is appears each time. I resized the pics, but still. I'll keep you guys inform. Thanks everyone for your help

I've found using http://PhotoBucket.com/ or some other free picture hosting web site easier for providing pictures on the forums I frequent.

I suspect they will reuse the internal parts of your unit and install them in another case.

Since I still having problems to upload pictures of my broken lg431 (Error message says upload folder full), I put the picture as my picture profile. Hope you can see it.
nestilllolcp,

Did you ever send your CTC laser in to be fixed? Typical turn around for repairs are 24 hrs. Due to the holidays shipping might be longer than normal but you really need to get this fixed. Give CTC a chance to make it right.

I sent it two weeks ago, not a single call from them. I love the laser on the elsie. So I can wait for them. I just want you guys to see where it broke, after two shots the second day @ the range. Weird, but happened. I think they should do something like an actual grip, like their other products. Again no hard feelings here, I know it is Holydays so it will take longer. I'll let you guys know.
Thanks

I am getting my CT this Friday from a local distributor. He showed me his CT on a Kel-Tek that he has been using for a year without a problem. If mine brakes it is only a 15 mile drive to Wilsonville and I will be knocking on there door.

Just got my laser today after a month. They replaced it and sent an extra battery with it. I'll be mounting it to my elsie tonight and wil try to go the range tomorrow to see what happen. Also after I received elsie from the recall I haven't use my gun so is a good time to try both.

Mine broke the first time at the range after less than 50rds. You can see that it chipped at the back of the trigger guard right before it turns down to the activation button. Looks like I call them tomorrow. Pretty disappointing.

Give them a call they will give you a confirmation number and you send it. You have to pay for the shipping. Mine took more than a month and the first email I receive from them was the day before the laser arrive. They replaced it and sent another battery. I was very disappointed too

Can both of you guys please call our customer service team first thing this morning so we can get this straightened out? The number is 1-800-442-2406 and ask for Heidi. Also nestilllolcp, please ask her to have "attention Dan Hughes" added to the returned LG431 so I can see the broken grip.

No worries, we WILL make this right.
