If I've done this properly, I can keep the chart up to date without re-posting. Wish me luck ;).

;D ;D It worked. I can replace the image on PhotoBucket and preserve the original name. Thus the image in the original post will be up to date as long as I update it in PhotoBucket. As long as there is interest on the forum, I'll keep it up to date.
Check the chart at the top. We have had great growth in September, our first month. Congratulations to all who contributed.

Worth noting, promotion works. The day I mentioned our forum in the other forums and mailing lists I frequent, the membership spiked. Perhaps others will take on the promotion mission as well.
BTT: Chart updated
That's interesting. I would have figured that after Ruger announced the recall new membership would flatten out. Instead it increased a bit. It does look like maybe we are getting to the top of the Bell curve, hope not....

Thank you for taking the time and effort on this. I was wondering what the numbers had gotten too.

You're very welcome.
I think the less aggressive growth of late (though we are still averaging around 8-9 new members everyday) does have something to do with the recall and product availability. Sale of 370 s/n guns (If they are available) may have stalled I suspect as perspective buyers know these guns are subject to the recall so they've elected to wait until the updated models hit the dealers' shelves. These same individuals if they had their guns in hand would no doubt add to to the membership list in short order. There's too much information here to miss. Historically, the first thing I do after buying a new model gun (after explaining to my wife how it followed me home), is to find a supporting online forum and then I soak in as much as I can.

Great job Howard, thanks.

Thank you Red Dots.

I like your handle. Not to be outdone, I am seriously thinking of changing my name to Loose Lips Sink Ships.

Congratulations to contest winner NewShooter. Check out post #1 for updated membership chart.

We had our biggest month in terms of sign-ups last month and we may surpass that figure this month. For a forum that caters to one model of gun, the growth of this site has been extremely impressive and I am not sure it has ever been duplicated on the internet. As of today, 11 Feb 09, there are approximately 15,000 posts covering more than 1500 topics. And we have only been in operation for a little over 5 months.

Kudos extended to our members for their support.

And kudos to our admins and mods for keeping it civil, sane and organized.
Thank you. It's also a testament to the popularity of the LCP. The demand has yet to subside.

Thank you for keeping this forum running! I am amazed at all the helpful advice that one could even access as a guest. So far it has been huge help for me and probably my favorite forum thus far to visit!!!

Yes this is a great forum. Thanks to all the effort put forth by the Mods, etc. I am glad I joined for sure. I found it on a google search for LCP CT Laser. The elsie pea store was there which led me to the forum. Great job, very informative.
Too bad you can't put this chart in a link on the home page. Are you even keeping it updated?
