Hardly makes it worthwhile posting a pic. On a 1440x900 monitor, 420x420 shows no detail. With a wide format camera that equates to a 420x281 picture. Surely, bandwidth can't be that limited to restrict us to that small of an attachment, or is it???

What works great for me on other forums is to use a service like http://photobucket.com/ to host your photos. Then you can place a thumbnail in your post that users can click on to see the full size image, even hi-res. photobucket.com is free and it's great when you want to email friends photo links.

I use both photobucket and imageshack as a host for posting pictures on forums only. I have other means of sending pics to family and friends without ridiculously small file size restrictions. I have no desire to post on this forum using only thumbnails or a small pixle size of 420x420. This is the first forum I've been on which basically limits my wide formate camera to a 420x281 picture.

Being new on this forum and not having posted that many pictures, I would glady go back and delete them, but the 'modify a post' feature has a time limit and will not allow me to do that. I've noticed that some of my pictures and those of others have already be resized by admin or mods (someone has too much time on their hands). I respectfully ask you not to do that. If bandwidth usage is so limited, then please delete my pictures entirely.

Thank you.
