I own three LCP magazines.

Two work perfectly - all the time. I've put about 200 rounds thru the LCP.

The third mag releases from the magazine well every time the LCP is fired.

I've inspected all three mags and to my untrained eye, they look the same.

Any suggestions before I toss the bad actor?

I went to the range today to re-look my magazine problem. Something - I didn't what - was nagging me about the problem.

Well, I've overlooked a very obvious condition. The magazine that releases when the weapon is fired is not a particular Ruger mag, it's whichever one has a NAA mag extension on it. I tried the extension on all three of my mags and all three released after one or two rounds being fired. All three mags worked perfectly when not extended.

DUH

I'm left wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem or, simply, I'm holding the pistol too tightly...

if referring to the (pinky rest) I have one of these NAA on mine and have not experienced any problems as you describe, maybe others will chime in here that also have them with a opinion.

I have an NAA finger extension on my mag as well and have fired 600 rounds with it on. Zero problems. I would look to another cause of the problem. The finger extension, any finger extension should have no bearing on functionality of the magazine.
