Lock your slide back, or take it apart and remove the barrel, Drop some of those PMC rounds into the chamber and see if they are easily going in all the way. If not, that's likely the problem. Try a different ammo. If the problem also occurs with a different ammo, you might be looking at sending it in for a new barrel. Could be burr in the chamber, or just flawed in some way.
LPC Max slide issue
Hi, just bought an LPC Max. Having an issue with the slide not going all the way forward. Happend at least 25 times on 100 PMC bronze cartridges. Am I doing something wrong? I was hopeful this would be flawless, out of the box...

Contact Ruger customer service. They will send you a new upper unit for it at no cost.

No, they sent me a new upper and a return label. No questions asked. When I described the issue I had (same as yours) he said he'd put in the request. About a week and a half later it showed up.

So I ran 150 rounds of federal ammo through it and didn't have a single issue. Thinking the PMC ammo I bought from the show was either old or.it just doesn't like that brand. I'll try a few other brands too but I was very happy with the performance of the LPC with the federal ammo!
Could be. At first mine shot 90gr stuff flawlessly but later started having issues with that as well. That's when I decided something was wrong.

I had the exact same issue. Check out the youtube videos. I contacted Ruger, and they quickly sent me a new slide and barrel assembly, which worked flawlessly. It is LCP not LPC. You are driving me crazy.So I ran 150 rounds of federal ammo through it and didn't have a single issue. Following up on this, I had a few more issues so I contacted Ruger and they are sending me a new slide assembly. Said it's a known issue related to the ejector.
