Amazing that despite the availability of other comparably priced .380's, during the first month of its introduction (March 08), LCP pre-solds, pre-orders and back-orders were running 80,000 units. People WANTED THIS GUN (page 30 of the article). And the demand has not subsided.

You know, the people at Ruger must be happy as hell. When they came out with the SR9 a lot of people were upset and wondering what is going on at Ruger and if they can keep it up and running and stuff. Now they are putting people in there place because the SR9 (despite the recall) and the LCP are a big success.
