Hey all,

I designed a follower for the LCP 380 that functions to hold the slide open on the last round. The slide itself catches on the follower so in order to remove the magazine, you will need to slightly pull back on the slide and the magazine will drop free. If you are interested, I am selling these followers on my ebay store.

Here is a youtube video of them functioning on my pistol:
You can purchase them here: 3D Printed Last Round Hold Open Magazine Followers - Ruger LCP 380 | eBay

Let me know if you have any questions.

I am not sure why you would want to signal to your enemy combatant that you have run out of ammunition. I was a SWAT team commander for a number of years and it was standard practice to disable the useless feature, The LCP pocket pistol is not designed to reload in a combat situation.......If you haven't got the job done with 7 rounds, it is time to get the hell out of there!!!

Yup. I guess a bazillion round magazine is great at the range where you don't want to have to stop down and reload mags, but everytime I see a guy bragging about his 24 round quad stack extended mag EDC I'm thinkin' "Dude, if you ain't got it done with the first four or five I'd start lookin' for an exit!"
