Took her shooting again today. 350 rounds today for a total of 650 rounds down the pipe. Here's the ammo breakdown:

500 WWB 95gr FMJ
100 Rem UMC 88gr JHP
50 Rem GS 102gr JHP (my carry round)

Heard some ppl had issues w/ the UMC stuff so I bought a box at walmart to see how mine would take it.

To date, not a SINGLE FTF, FTE, stove pipe, light strike, etc...

The CT laser is slightly off, but of course I forgot to take the allen wrenches w/ me ::) I'll fix that next time.

I fired 200+ rounds with laser only from my belly and hip area. Took tons of casings to my chin/face lol, but they ALL made it onto the shoot-n-c 6" target at 7 yards semi rapid fire...

A great lil' gun!

350 rounds in the same day, how does your wrist feel after that? ;) I agree with you, the LCP is a great little gun, but not sure about 350 rounds. :) Alright, Im just jealous, I wish I could find the time lately to be able to fire 350 rounds. ;)
Wrist has never been an issue. But the right side of my trigger finger, where it rubs the trigger guard is pretty raw!

Dont know if it's just me, but I have to readjust my grip every 2-3 rounds b/c of how small it is. Do the Keltec/Bersa/NAA finger extensions remedy this? Only affects me when shooting fast one handed... ???
Nope, it's not just you. I had the same problem, sometimes even two handed. I found the Houge slip on grip and the finger extensions took care of the problem. The smoother, shorter Bersa extension works better in my front pocket, the Keltec extension is just long enough to catch as I draw from the pocket. It's only about a 1/4 inch longer, but that's enough....
Regards,
Mike
does anyone have a pic of the mag w/the pierce ext. on
nice shootin, 350 rounds, you get my vote, but I have said many times these to me are just fun guns to shoot to. I never did fall for the phroase "shoot seldom carry often"..Nice report.

I wish I could afford to shoot 350 rounds in one range trip....lol

I dont go as often as I'd like to. So whenever I go to walmart for something else (sodas, bottled water, etc) I'll toss in a box of ammo. By the time I go to the range, I have a couple boxes. It tricks myself into thinking I'm really not spending that much on ammo. Better than going and spending $2-300 on ammo in one day...

I do the samething at walmart, I have at least 4000 rounds of ammo in my closet(between .22lr, .380,9mm, .45 acp). and still pick up a box of each round every trip. I agree with you, I believe its mental. Kidding yourself, or maybe the wife that we arent really spending that much on ammo

Great to hear your little pocket pistol is shooting good without any failures.

One thing I would have done different would have been to of cut back on the WWB practice rounds and shot more of your carry round....

I only bought 2 boxes of the GS 102gr (50 per box) just incase the gun didnt eat them. I'll be buying another 2 boxes this week and put another 100 WWB and another 100 GS 102gr rounds through it...
OK, so I broke some gun owners rules. After shooting those 350 rounds on the 18th, I never cleaned my LCP. I continued to carry it in my pocket all day, everyday (along w/ my USPc .45 IWB). Never took it apart, oiled it, etc... Went to the range today, didn't even blow the pocket lint off her, and lobbed another 100 rounds down range, again without a single malfunction. I have 2 mags, and shoot as fast as I can reload them, no cooling off for her. Like I've said before, these are my tools. I wanted to see if it would fail me. She didnt. Tomorrow, she gets a full spa treatment in a Hoppe's hot tub and a silicone cloth backrub ;D

I wish I could figure out a way to conceal my USPc .45 inside my waist band. It's just too big...no matter what kind of holster I try, it prints unless I'm wearing a very heavy coat.

What kind of frame type are you? I appendix carry mine. Wear it with T shirts all the time.
I'm a pretty big guy. 6'2", 270lbs. Not obese or anything...just large-framed. I've tried it quite a few different ways...using an Uncle Mike's IWB holster...what kind of holster are you using?

Personally I wish H&K made a weapon smaller than the USP Compact, but with the same reliability and close to the same accuracy. maybe a single-stack slimline or something. I LOVE my H&K...this is a loose group for me...each circle is about 1/2 inch...

Check out the HK P2000 SK.

I duty carry the USP .40 Compact and off-duty carry the P2000 SK .40 Sub-compact. It's about 1/2 inch shorter in the barrel and hand grip. It's very concealable but not a pocket gun like the LCP. What's best is that both firearms are virtually identical mechanically so practice/proficiency with one transfers to the other.
