Has anyone made their own snap caps? I pop the primer out of a case and fill in the pocket with silicone. Seems to work ok, haven't broken any firing pins yet and it lasts quite awhile. Any thoughts/ideas on this?
Thanks,
Mike

I am fond of the A-Zoom over home brew because of their distinctive look. It's easier to confirm what is in the chamber visually without racking the slide. The downside, I've seldom required more than 2 in any of the drills I perform, but you have to buy them in packages of 5. The package is usually less than $20, so I consider it insurance at a moderate, but tolerable price.

Sorry Habanero, maybe another thread :D Howard, the snap caps I make are painted florescent orange, no mistaking them for anything else, except maybe for really little roadside cones......
