Subject: In car video from pursuit/Shoot Out in Wharton County.

The Below link is the in car video from one of the officers involved in
the chase which ended in a shoot out and Game Warden Justin Hurst being
killed. The Jury found the defendant guilty of Capital Murder last week
and gave him Death as punishment. The video goes out when a round from
the AK-47 hits the camera. This all started from a stop where the
defendant was going to recieve a citation for shooting from the roadway.

Now , This is a tragedy.

i know that officers are supposed to be professional, but i am not so sure that i could refrain
from putting at least one bullet between the eyes of that scumbag who murdered the young officer. Who would know!!!!!!!!!when the camera has been destroyed by bullet fragments.

I blame it on video games.....no really the guy just snapped. I'm guessing he probably had a history of flying off the handle. Between this and the Black Friday Walmart MOB deaths I have heard about in NY today, I am stunned at the lack of respect of human life anymore.

My experience with our Game Warden in our back yard :

Some of our land borders the wildlife refuge and my experience with our officer(totally different guy) was that he was less than neighborly in telling me not to ride my quad on our land adjacent to the property they purchased off my grandfather. I have never crossed the fenced in land they patrol. He was very rude to me.

You really just don't know what a person will do to avoid getting caught. It is really tragic that an officer died over this. I've never had any desire to be game warden. Looks like your odds would be pretty bad seeing how most everyone you approached would have a gun. Not to say all hunters are crazy. But I know some are. I personally know them.
