remember Ruger made the statement they can make one lcp every 52 seconds, so they will poor them out the door. Would not suprise me to see the year 09 of over 100,000 produced and SOLD. they are just as hot a seller as the day they started shipping them. I think downt he road the recall will even make them more desirable. Theya re handlign the recall with total class and still making the new guns for public sales. Finally hitting stores in (small) numbers
Academy Sports in the Houston Area is receiving LCPs in batches of 3 or 4 at a time for many of their stores. The first store I visited yesterday was holding all of theirs for people who had "pre-ordered " but they were nice enough to check their computer system to see which of the other stores had also received some. After running all over town and hearing "You just missed the last one" , I finally found mine at the fourth store I visited ;D. They are now getting in the new LCP "kits" which include a neat gray waterproof hard plastic foam-padded case with 371xxx serial numbered guns. Of course they are all sold out now, but keep checking.
