If I have my pants on my LCP is in my pocket. No exceptions, local... for the most part... with exceptions of where legal and venturing out of state.
+1 more to curly's statement

Yes I do. I've been doing it for 3 years now and most of the time I forget that I have it. The first year there was a lot of experimenting. An LCP and a pocket holster work best for me.

YES I carry in the house, just took a shower and have pajamas on so put my 26 with holster in the night stand, my other one I've been carrying is my LCP which is right next to me in the living room I sit in a chair that is strategically placed so I can see all entry points into the home... I'd use the elsie to fight my way to the glock, I need to also load my shotgun as well and keep it on the ready, I'm not totally paranoid just try to be alert and aware... you just never know, until its to late.....

don't be one of those, "oh that will never happen to me" , cause it just might, you never know....

Normally I do not. I keep a loaded Bersa Thunder 380 in a quick access safe in my bedroom at one end of the house. At the other end of the house I have another quick access safe in my office w- this is where my LCP, LC9s, Glock 26 and Ruger SR1911 CMD live. In my shop I have another two safes with my ammo stash, loaded Mossberg 12 ga, S&W 32-20, and Walther p22, Marlin 30-30, Mosin Naugant, and Marlin model 795. My 7 year old grand daughter visit with us frequently and I like to keep everything secure

I would say that if I had young children around, I would keep the guns and ammo real secure as well, but it's just me and the missus,..... and the cat.
I don't know, cats are quite mischievous .......:D

Let me also add, my wife's late step father was beat near death when he was home-invaded, he lived alone at the time and was completely caught by surprise though he owned firearms.... he was robbed beaten...

afterward he always carried a firearm and had them stashed 'hot' and ready throughout the house, vowed never to be a victim...

myself I have 3 kids from 7-12 here at the house, they are pretty versed on firearms and all of them have shot, even my 10yo boy has shot my G27 when he shot the LCP he didn't like it and it only took one shot to find that out, as well as the 27... now 9mm he can handle... but obviously enjoys .22lr...

I've told my kids if they ever want to handle one of my guns just ask plain and simple, they don't have to be sneaky about and that helps with children's curious minds.. they know they're dangerous and have been educated about it not "yelled at", my daughter 12 finds no interest at all with them and has nothing to do with them, I've informed the whole family where my two guns are that are always hot and they know that all guns are loaded and dangerous even if you think they're not... They don't run off and tell their friends "my daddy has guns and even handloads dangerous ammunition" its just a small part of our lives, they don't do this because I don't hide it from them.. my 10yo will be 11 this month and he has a lot of experience around firearms and is extremely cautious on the range, sometimes more so than I and it makes me proud that it is resonating with him..

Guns are meant for sports, recreation and to protect yourselves, family and property, its not something that should be boasted about, brandished and simply turn someone into an instant tough guy, its this mindset that sets us apart from the BG.. My old assistant pastor/friend in california has carried guns for as long as I've known him, he doesn't have a carry permit either but is expressing his rights, is it wrong?? in the eyes of the law that most states have mandated, but not in the eyes of the 2A.. You would never even think twice this man has a gun as he presents himself very well respected in the community that won't allow him a permit, he's no criminal but lives in an area where lots of crimes/murders/rapes and kidnappings happen nearly on a day to day bassis, he has no intentions of stopping a robbery but will if he feels his life or family's lives are immediate danger...then you can count him down for the cause, regardless of ramifications afterward
He knows its a sin not to abide by mans law as the scripture points out, but this was actually a law that many states made us obtain permits because many years ago people stopped carrying guns and at that time you could carry a gun around in any of our states, well when we stopped observing our constitutional rights to carry the states spoke up (wanting more tax revenue) and placed a Conceal Carry statute on the books so then no one could carry without obtaining a license to express their 2A right, we have done it to ourselves initially there no one to blame but the armed citizens who wouldn't carry.... having said that there are still 5 states among us where there resident citizens can openly carry without a permit of anykind Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Vermont and Wyoming you don't need to pay an application fee if your a resident just shove your pocket pistol in your pants and go about your business, carry a gun in the open for all to see and its nothing, people don't trip on it because its been done for years and they've expressed their rights to constitutionally carry....

end of tangent..
