I usually leave my LCP and/or Ruger SP101 in my vehicle during working hours. Should I be concerned about condensation during very cold weather? Are there any "corrective actions" to prevent or maintenance issues around potential condensation?
I would think the only time you would have issues (and this may be what you are doing) is if you are bring your gun from your house @68 degrees and then leaving it in your vehicle ,there could be a chance of it picking up condensation. I do believe that a thin coat of oil will prevent any rust even under these conditions.
Think of all the times the cops are in and out of coffee shops and they dont have a rust issue. ( just kidding )
