Very Good Idea! We do need the necessaries to keep our pistols in fine working order and bore snakes are great items to own!

Ever since I used a bore snake, I don't use anything else. It's so much easier, and I can run it through twice in about 10 secs to give my bore a cleaning before I leave the range. That Slide Hold Open sure comes in handy for this! I guess those designers at Ruger knew what they were doing, eh!

Howard, did you pass this idea on the Little Honcho with regards to him stocking this item in the ElsiePea Store? If not, you really should! ;D ;D

Our soldiers think a lot of the bore snake. Before they were available through the military procurement system, there was a charitable project that provided nearly 32,000 to our troops. Read about it at http://projectboresnake.org/.

I have been using a kit by OTIS for a while now. I love it. Small, simple, clean it right at the range. I love it, I have people all the time watch me do it and they always ask where they can get it.
