Questions have come up regarding why some folks received a $25 gift certificate and some didn't....those who received a gift certificate had their LCP's in for other work at the time of the recall but their repairs were delayed pending receipt of the parts to repair the hammer problem (reason for the recall). A "thank you" on the part of Ruger for being patient.

makes sense. my lcp was in for repairs previously and they slipped me a finger magazine the first time. now it's back in the shop today for the recall and i wouldn't be unhappy if they sent me a $25 gift certificate (that i can't use). if not, i'll take the finger magazine (that i can't use either).

Yes, mine was sent in Oct 10th, they kept it untill they got the recall parts, I got it back last Wed. with a extra mag, hat and gift cert.

Thats fair, I only sent mine in for the recall so I could get the hat anyway.

Make sense to me, too. I'll be happy just to have the extra finger magazine. I had to send my SR9 back and we received a new magazine and an SR9 hat. The LCP hat looks like the SR9 hat. The guys that have had their pistols there longer for other issues deserve a little extra for their patience.

Can someone explain, I cannot figure out how to redeem this friggin certificate! I tried entering the Certificate Number on the form, however it doesn't appear to be credited in the total when I checkout. ???
