mine came with 2 magazines and a nice hard case, i thought it only came with one magazine!!!!! oh yeah bought it at academy for 330!!!!

I have heard of some people mentioning a hard case but not an extra mag. Congrats on your purchase. ;D
I picked up my new LCP (371-xxxxx) on New Years eve. It was in the original white cardboard box and contained the gun rug (soft case), lock, manual, and one mag with finger extension.

Congrats on your purchases. I too just received my 371-00xxx series LCP. Very pleased so far. Mine came in the cardboard box not the plastic case incidentally. I would like to see what this "kit" (i.e. the plastic case) looks like.
Question, although my LCP is a 371 series it has the diamond stamp which I expected to only be on 370 retrofitted weapons. Has anyone else heard of this? Is Ruger going to stamp all their LCP's with the diamond going forward?

mine came in the standard white box, the case was handed to me seperate , it reminds me of a small pelican case it has a cut out for the gun and a extra mag, this gun came in this morning and they only got 2, the barrel is also black, for the guy who said i paid dearly for an extra mag, all i can say is it was the only place in town and i had a 200 giftcard for academy that i got for christmas, so i didnt mind paying the extra money!!!1

Don't fret young fella. $330.00 got you the gun (average reasonable deal is $290.00), extra mag (LCP store $20.00), and a hard case (probably worth at least $15.00). Sounds pretty reasonable to me. ;Dpookiechad said:

Pookiechad, as far as the plastic case goes...I wonder if since the case was simply handed to you that the shop is just throwing them in for some reason. Seems odd that both a box and a case would come with a new weapon from the factory. Anyway...it's what's inside that matters!

yes i would like one of those cases as well. can someone please post the exact dimensions? i'm looking to install a lockbox under my motorcycle seat and this would be perfect. thanks.
of course this would be a project for me, lots of cutting and drilling for lock holes and bolting down the case and allowing mag finger ext.....i have a brand new ruger lcp rug and/or rug lock for anyone who would prefer those. http://elsiepeaforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=1532.0
