The LCP was my first CCW. Everything else I look at, is compared to the LCP. Size, weight, caliber, etc.

So far nothing else compares.

carried kt products until I came across my Kahr PM9 which worked every time. I just could not trust my 3 kt's that I owned. Tried to but just couldn't get them to work wirth a damn... If my kt's worked as good as my lcp does, I would never have owned a lcp.

I started out carring a S&W 38 Special 5 shot Model 36. It is a very nice carry but you only get 5 shots. About a year ago I purchased an XD-40 and carried it in a fanny pack or in a Maxpedition Shoulder pack. Have had the LCP for a couple of months now and have been carring it most of the time. Sometimes I carry it and the XD. I have a Desantis ? holster for the LCP and it fits real nice in the front pocket. Have even carried it in my shirt pocket now that the weather is getting cooler and I wear a jacket. When I purchased the CT I modified the holster to accept the added width by removing the stitching and reforming the holster. Cheaper than buying a new one and it works great. :)

I just got my LCP with the intent of using it as a BUG, or when I absolutely can't carry my primary ccw. I primarily carry a 10mm or 40 caliber.

Main reason is especially in winter with heavier coats and clothing, I like the more potent cartridges.

My wife has had a Kel-tec for awhile and she carries it as a BUG. She either carries a 9mm or 40 for her primary pistol (both glocks- mine are Smith"s)

I've been carrying either a Kahr PM9, a S&W Bodyguard Airweight, or a KelTec P32...depending on the season.

Haven't gotten the lil' Ruger yet.
with what you mentioned not sure I would go out and buy a lcp, unless you peddle the kt 32, which IMO is at the very low end of a caliber for defense. Ur first two mentioned would be my choice for 24/7 carry. I have zero issues carrying my PM9 in my front pocket anywhere...

I started with a S&W 38 Special Model 36 then got a Kahr CW9, which offers a few more rounds and is a bit slimmer. I have a Taurus PT25 which I would drop in my jacket if going out in the back yard but now the LCP fits that bill.

What did I carry before the LCP? Let's see...

Colt Delta Elite Match 10 - Open Carry Only
S&W Model 15
S&W Model 66
S&W 642 Centennial
S&W 36
Sterling .22
Beretta Md 86

...and I still carry them after the LCP! The LCP did not replace anything, but augmented the collection.

My BUG for years was a Kel-Tec P-32.

Then I had a PF-9 for a while. I liked it, but it was a tad large to be a true pocket pistol IMO.
