My local a**hole dealer called yesterday saying they were cancelling their LCP backorders list. I'd been on it since June. I suspect he really doesn't want to honor the $300 price, now that shipments are starting again.
Anyway, now I've lost 7 months and if I go to another shop I'm behind all the backorders that have accumulated since June. The whole deal has left a really sour taste in my mouth, especially since other areas seem to have had them available all along.

Gunbroker maintains a list of FFLs. Check the list. I found an FFL that does the transfer for $12.50. And he comes to my house.

I've been on the wait list at the shop I bought my Taurus twice now in the last 6 months. The first time, the counter guy was found to be helping himself to inventory and after he got fired, they started a new waiting list. Gave up and went to a different shop and now mine will be the next one in. Does nothing for my desire for instant gratification, but at least I know it'll be soon.

Update:
Found a place online that will do 2 for $660 shipped. My best price for a non-a**hole dealer FFL transfer is $28 per, so the total is $358 each. Locally, paying retail (if I could find one) would be $330 plus $5 for background check phone call plus $19.80 sales tax for a total of $354.80
Difference of only $3.20 each!

I've searched this site to the best of my ability and this is the first place that I've seen this. So has Ruger resumed production and are they shipping out new LCPs?

Ruger must be shipping some LCP's. Cabelas near here got 15 Tuesday. Was up there today, and a few left.
I bought mine Tuesday.... $319.00. I don't know their shipping policies to local FFL dealers but:

Got my LCP on Gunbroker.com, and had it in my hands 6 days later . Paid just about list price + $20. FFL to my local dealer..... seller had FREE shipping

Don't know if it will work but ... there's a Cabela's in Hamburg, PA. Maybe you could get something worked out. I decided it was cheaper for me to buy mine, in state and pay sales tax, than it was to buy it out of state, pay shipping and FFL fees.
