Anyone Using a K&D Pocked Defender?

I looked through this section and did not see any posts that referenced a K&D Defender holster. I have been using a "Guru Dave" rear pocket holster since I got my LCP last March. It doesnt appear that many here are using back pocekt carry. The leather Guru is Ok, but for warm weather carry in the leather, you basically have to wipe and oil the gun daily to prevent rust.

I ordered a K&D 2N1 Defender with the holster made from Kydex & the anti print panel made from leather several months back and I am still waiting. It's still in the Q waiting to be completed based on a recent update . I already have a K&D holster that I use for another handgun, and the custom quality is definately worth the wait.

How do you like it? I have purchased a Desantis Nemesis holster already in preparation for my Ruger LCP but am looking to purchase a rear pocket holster to try out. By the way, I probably only live 15 mins from you.

I got one from the very first batch that Guns N Ammo received. It's been a great gun, never a single problem right out of the box, and now well beyond 1000 rounds through it. For me, rear pocket carry is the way to go. It prints just like a wallet, and I don't have to worry about pocket change or keys getting in the same pocket. With a little practice, the rear pocket draw is pretty quick. For warm weather, I just don't like the leather for all day carry on a blued finish. I keep thinking about sending it out for plating, but I'm still on the fence. When I finally get the new custom Kydex holster from K&D I will post pictures.

If you are going to get it refinished, I would send it to CCR.
